In list form, because list form is always fun.
1. The abrupt Sinclair-less-ness is difficult to adjust to. And…I don’t know if I have an opinion of Sheridan yet? But then, I’m pretty sure I started out the same with Sinclair, and then was pretty fond of him by the end of the season. And I like that he’s decided that Ivanova needs to learn diplomacy, instead of rushing to keep her from ruining her career by annoying the wrong people like two certain other people.
2. I completely forgot about the president being assassinated! Probably because Garibaldi being shot in the back and Delenn being in a cocoon are more important.
3. Speaking of Delenn, even though I pretty much knew she got hair eventually due to fandom osmosis, but I’m still irritated that the opening credits gave that away. And I suspect I could watch Ivanova helping her learn to be human (Her hair! Menstrual cramps!) for ages.
4. But whatever they’re doing with Sheridan and Delenn is…awkward. Like, I know some of the awkwardness is deliberate, but I’m not sure this much is.
5. I absolutely adored the bit with Londo’s wives.
6. The new Na’Toth is taking a bit of getting used to. She seems to be doing a good job, but doesn’t quite have the commanding presence of the first actress.
7. Lennier (sp?) and Vir remain especially adorable. I’m especially fond of Lennier defending Delenn’s honor in a totally noble-puppy way during the whole metamorphosis bit.
8. Franklin is refreshingly unannoying for what seems to be an obsessive do-gooder. Which I noticed in season 1, but even moreso here. And I have absurd fondness for when he was putting everyone on a diet, especially Ivanova’s reaction to it.
9. There has been a lot of Winters the last few episodes that I’ve seen. I feel incredibly spoiled by this and am sure it means she’ll die or disappear forever before long. Also, I suspect I am a bad person because I was disappointed that she didn't really kill all the renegade telepaths. I'll take drinks with Ivanova as a consolation prize, though.

Date: 2009-06-09 10:35 am (UTC)It's Lennier. (oh lennier.)
I am never entirely sure what my initial reaction to Sheridan must have been (I was like, tiny when he first showed up) but I do know that I have no way of judging Sheridan/Delenn being awkward what with how they're carrying giant OTP signs around all the time in my head, and since the show did/does nothing but encourage that reaction from me ... *shrug*
Franklin's character arc is amazing, and yes, the annoyance is intentional on the part of the writers. It's one of his most frustrating and also endearing character flaws.
... dfghsdklfhkjh Talia Winters. (You know she and Ivanova are supposed to be an official couple but the broadcast censors wouldn't let the writing staff actually say so on television?)
