oyceter has posted on what is possibly the most amazing cdrama ever
here.
Not the best, just the most amazing. My chief thoughts after reading the post were "I wonder if that scene was better tha the one like it in Wolf's Rain," and "if they're destitute, how can she afford a huge funeral procession?"
At the other end of the drama spectrum,
dangermousiehas posted a mostly unspoilery rec post for the kdrama
Legend of the Four Gods here, as well as a pusher post(a little while back) on
Capital Scandal here. The first half is mostly unspoilery, but once she says it's spoilery, I assume she spoils everything in the series(I haven't looked past that point.) A few on the flist who recently started watching kdramas might want to check them out. (They're also-and have been for months-at the top of my "dramas to get" list.)

Messiah Complex here,

2) Why most bad manga art can do nothing to me(note: there is also much, much good art in US comics...just not a lot here....pretty much just Eaton.)
