Of Swords and Parasols

Last night, we watched How to Train Your Dragon.  This was my four-year-old nephew:

Nephew:  *rambles nonsensically about 10 or so things*

Movie:  *blond girl wanders on screen and tosses braid over shoulder*

Nephew:  "Look!  It's astrid!"

Sister-In-Law:  "Do you like Astrid?"

Nephew "Yeeeeees."

Me:  "Is Astrid your favorite?"

Nephew: "YES!"

The movie itself was pretty entertaining, though I really am over "awkward/unappreciated guy gets special power/item/pet and saves them all" stories.  I also thought the "dragons are really cute and fluffy pets once you get to know them!"  approach was...odd?  But I doubt the target audience has that issue.
