randomness: romance novels covers, and pirates of the caribbean/fullmetal alchemist

So, anyone who's even peaked at the romance novel aisle at the bookstore or supermarket knows that romance novels often have, at best, questionable covers(as in "why would anyone think this would sell a book?")  There have, though, been some pretty good ones the last few years.  Right now I'm reading Patricia Waddell's futuristic romance True Blood(short version of the plot is that it's about a diplomat and her super-deadly bodyguard investigating the serial murders of the descendants of his race's royalty...pretty good so far, more a mixture of adventure and romance than a romance novel, but that's what works best for futuristics)

Anyway, I really like the front cover:



I like the back cropping much better, though-pushes them off to the left side so that the left half is almost solid black and his head his at the very top...very nice and atmospheric)  Sadly, can't find a pic of that.
