I already made posts for most of it, but...

(13) Legend of Evil Lake and (14) 100 Days With Mr. Arrogant got their own post, as did (16-17) Cowboy Bebop: Complete Collection and Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, as well as (20) R.O.D.: Read or Die: The TV: Complete Collection, leaving...

(15) Paris When It Sizzles-Another Audrey Hepburn movie, and another excellent one.  As Alex and Emma is obviously a remake of this, however loose a remake, I have to wonder if Greg Kinnear is subconsciously trying to be known for playing William Holden's roles in remakes.  While this one didn't leave as much of an impact on me as Sabrina or Roman Holiday, it was still great and is staying on my keeper shelf.

18) Magicians of Love-A Taiwanese series about straight hairdressers who must save the world and change lives through the power of good hairstyles.  I kid you not.  Great, cracky fun, though, like the other Taiwanese series I've seen, it would have benefitted from being trimmed down a few hours.  I large part of why I tend to migrate towards Japanese doramas instead of Taiwanese or Korean, though I also like those.

(19) Emma-The Gwyneth Paltrow version. While I prefer the Kate Beckinsale version(largely because Emma is shown as growing and changing there, whereas she doesn't do as much here) I quite liked this one.  Largely because, like the recent Pride and Prejudice(which I adore beyond reason) there's a considerable emphasis on the language and dialogue, and also because of Jeremy Northam, who really needs to do more period movies(has he done any besides this one and An Ideal Husband?) Not as good as the Beckinsale version, but still very good, and recommended.

Currently watching: GTO anime-not the instant love I felt for the live action version a while back, and the animation annoys me at times, but good.  Hopefully my doramas will get here really soon so I can watch the rest of Emperor of the Sea.  Those 2 and a coupla movies are the goal for the week.

WHY do I not have any Spiral icons?  I used to have a Kiyono one, but I can't find it.  I must fix this...*breaks out her Haru from Fruits Basket icon...he looks a lil like Ayumu...)

And, yes, I finally caved to the need to rewatch some anime.

Spiral was one of my earliest animes, and is still one of my favorites(and has one of my favorite OTPs).

Spiral is about Ayumu Narumi, a high school student who's pretty much brilliant at everything, but rather bitter about it and more than a bit of an introvert and has nothing resembling social skills.  The main reason for this is his brother, Kiyotaka, who disappeared two years ago.  While Ayumu is good at everything he's ever tried, the reason for this is that he was always trying to match his brother.  For Kiyotaka, everything was always effortless, and by putting everything he  has into it, Ayumu is able to be almost as good as Kiyotaka, but never as good, which makes all his efforts meaningless.  Two years ago, Kiyotaka disappeared, saying "I'm going to pursue the mystery of the Blade Children" and has not contacted his wife, Madoka, or Ayumu since.

Probably get to vol 2 sometime thisd week(rewatch=lower priority)
