Another Saturday, all alone and closing.  And probably on the other computers for most of the day.  Cannot even make an "ENTERTAIN ME!" plea...

Will theoretically get around to posting on eps 13-18 of Legend and a couple of the GNs I brought to work with me, though.

Meanwhile, people have dreams about me.  Interesting.  *can't remember Lee Adama well enough from the few eps of BSG she saw to know if she'd do crossover shipping with him and Kitty Pryde or not even if she did that*

Also, must get oil changed and car inspected before heading for A-Kon.  Someone remind me on Tuesday to get it done on Wednesday?

This manga continues to be very entertaining, though I doubt it’ll ever go down as a favorite. Because it’s shoujo romantic comedy, we get another boy, Azuma, who likes Sachie introduced, and who comes to live with the little yakuza clan. I’m not really sure what I think of him so far. Mostly, he hits on Sachie and trades death glares with Rakuto. I am, however, very fond of Sachie’s assuming that they became instant friends.

I can’t really decide how much I like Rakuto, as much as I enjoy him. I am very fond of the “protect the princess” monomania, and his diabolical side is just on the right to keep him from annoying me, but I tend to wish he’d just be a little more straightforward with Sachie. Sachie continues to be completely badass when crossed, which would more than compensate for her occasional dimness, if I felt the need to be bothered by that. (Which I don’t, as it tends to make sense.) Also, she’s braver than almost every male in the book, and makes sketches in haunted houses and turns perverts over to hordes of annoyed women. Actually, Rakuto reminds me somewhat of Gin from Bleach, so it’s entirely possible that my brain just can’t process the idea of Gin as a shoujo hero.

The mangaka, however, continues to confuse me about what kind of book this is, as glancing at the covers convinces me that this is one of those “princess/priestess with demon boy” series, not “sometimes badass yakuza heiress with diabolical and sneakily badass bodyguard.”

Also, [profile] calixa, this manga would confuse you, as Rakuto has light hair, and Azuma dark hair. (Cali is convinced that, in shoujo, the dark haired boy always gets the girl, and the light haired boy always loses out. Her reality falls out of focus when the opposite happens.)

I watched these eps streaming over a period of 3 days. As I can only tolerate streaming for about 15-20 minutes at a time, I’m afraid my few thoughts are rather scattered and disjointed.
