Of Swords and Parasols

 Hmm...so, I just read a little while ago that there will only be 25 chapters.  Is this true?  If so, is it because Akimine Kamijyo decided to make it a short series, or because of cancellation?  Most importantly...DOES THAT MAKE IT MORE LIKELY FOR THE BOOK TO GET LICENSED SOONER?!?!?!?!  *wants in hands*

You may recall when I read the first 3 chapters, I was wondering about this guy:



He has appeared.  I love him.  I don't want him to be evil.

PS-I love Lu.  Not as much as Yuya, but it's early days yet.  Then again, I like most of Akimine Kamijyo's female characters...

I shall now wait patiently(HA!) for more scanslations.

I have spent a fair chunk of tonight reading the first three chapters of Akimine Kamijyo's(Samurai Deeper Kyo) Silvery Crow(it's the easier title to remember so it's what I'm going with)

This was a rather interesting experience for me as it's my first time reading snanslations before already being into the series, as every other scanslation I've looked into, I was already buying the licensed series(as I shall do here, too, should such a happy occassion arise)

Incidentally, ch 1 is roughly 80 pages, ch 2 50 pages and ch 3 30 pages, so basically, I read volume 1...and if I'm not mistaken, this is a monthly series.  Either Kamijyo is killing him/herself(?) getting the early chapters out, or got a huge headstart.

Anyway, thoughts, story and a few pics.

 
ETA:  I also read ch 72-74 of Full Metal Alchemist today, and they were excellent, but as it's licensed and I buy the books, I'll save my thoughts for when gets over here.
